More commonly known as “Tea Tree,” Melaleuca essential oil has over 92 different compounds and limitless applications. The leaves of the Melaleuca tree were used by the Aborigines of Australia for centuries. They would crush the leaves and inhale the oil to promote feelings of clear breathing and apply the leaves directly to the skin for a cooling effect.

Another fantastic way to use tea tree oil is as a household cleaner. Tea tree oil has powerful antimicrobial properties and can kill off bad bacteria in your home.
Tea Tree oil is used for hair because of its cleansing, rejuvenating, and purifying properties. Unlike chemical-ridden hair care products, Tea Tree essential oil offers a soft, gentle element to any hair are routine. Dandruff and lice can leave your scalp feeling itchy all the time. In order to treat these hair problems, add a few drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo.
Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties, so it works great as a natural laundry freshener, especially when your laundry is smelly. Simply add 5–10 drops of tea tree to your laundry detergent. You can also spot clean cloth, rugs or athletic equipment with a mixture of tea tree oil, vinegar and water.

How to Use
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.
Use: Dilute with Coconut Oil or any other carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity. (Skin Patch Test is recommended)
